Plaza de España

 is one of Barcelona's most important squares, built on the occasion of the 1929 International Exhibition, held at the foot of Montjuïc, in the Sants-Montjuïc district.


 



The Palau Nacional (National Palace)

 

Situated in Montjuïc (Barcelona), is a palace constructed between the years 1926 and 1929 for the 1929 International Exhibition in Barcelona.

 

The Arc de Triomph is an arch in the manner of a memorial or triumphal arch . It was built as the main access gate for the 1888 Barcelona World Fair by architect Josep Vilaseca i Casanovas.
